We need members, volunteers, and sponsors for pre-race and race weekend events! The success of the 2012 Siskiyou Sled Dog Race depends upon the support of sponsors and volunteers alike. Come to our Board meetings to see how you can be involved.

Next Event will be the Free Kids Rides when weather and scheduling permit.

We need volunteers to help in all aspects of the race – from planning, organization, and operations, to media, public relations, fund-raising and administrative work. Before and after the races we need people to, pack down the trails, make signs, make race bibs,  transport  equipment, mark the trails, and place roadside signs. On race days we need people to be timers, direct sleds on the trail, direct parking, dog handlers to guide dogs to the start line and hold them until they start, manage kids activities, sell T-shirts, hats and dog harnesses, and more! SSDSA activities are family oriented and open to the public.

You may show up at the races and sign in at the volunteers booth and be assigned a job right there!  Become a part of this fun event.  Thanks
