Free Kids Dog Sled Dog Rides – held annually in mid-December, 1/4 mile from the end of Ski Park Hwy
  • 3rd Annual Dancing for the Dogs Contra Dance and Silent Auction October 13 at the Mt Shasta High School Gym 6:00-9:30PM
  • Siskiyou Sled Dog Races – A two day event held annually in January the weekend after Martin Luther King Weekend  at the Chuck Best/Deer Mtn Snowmobile Park, 17 miles NE of Weed on Hwy 97.

    • WAYS TO SPONSOR:

  • T-SHIRT LOGO SPONSORSHIPS – Due by November 10th each year: Display your name or logo on the back of the popular selling Siskiyou Sled Dog Race T-shirts (We sell about 200 T-shirts each year). Only 26 logo spots are available at the price of $100 per spot.   T-shirts will be available at the races and at the Weed Mercantile, the Mt. Shasta and Weed Chambers of Commerce, and the Yreka Historic Preservation Welcome Center and from our website.  T-shirts will also be on sale at the Annual Free Kids Ride Days in December. This donation includes a link to your website from our sponsor page and mention at the races. The sponsorship can be deducted as an advertising business expense.  Your business logo can be e-mailed to the Siskiyou Sled Dog Sporting Association at info@siskiyousleddograces.net.  Please send your logo in black and white and also in color – high resolution (300 dpi) .jpeg file.  Please include the following information with your logo:  Business Name:  Your Name: Phone Number:  See mailing information below for your sponsorship check.

  • DONATE CONTRA-DANCE AUCTION ITEMS :  Our Dancing for the Dogs Contra Dance and Silent Auction is held 1n November at the Mount Shasta High School Gym. We ask businesses, individuals and organizations for Silent Auction Items that will be nicely displayed with your business info and cards (supplied by the business) You will receive a receipt for the estimated retail value for your advertising tax credit.
