FROM INTERSTATE I-5 Take CENTRAL WEED Exits

from the North, take exit #748 off I-5, TURN LEFT under the freeway and TURN RIGHT onto NORTH WEED BLVD / HWY 265 heading south 0.4 mile.
from the South, take exit #747 off I-5 and TURN RIGHT onto SOUTH WEED BLVD / HWY 97 heading north 0.3 mile,
Go into town mile and turn east on MAIN ST. under the green metal Arch.
Go 0.4 mile to the end of MAIN ST. before the railroad tracks at the Wooden Cougar statue
The Weed Mercantile Mall is on the left (North)

Take Central Weed Exits
from the North take exit #748 off I-5 TURN LEFT under the freeway and TURN RIGHT onto NORTH WEED BLVD/ HWY 265 heading south 0.3 mile
from the South take exit #747 off I-5 and TURN RIGHT onto SOUTH WEED BLVD/ HWY 97 heading north 0.3 mile
Turn North-East on HIGHWAY 97 in WEED CA
Take HIGHWAY 97, 16.8 miles North-East out of Weed California around the north flank of Mt. Shasta
Turn right (East) at the sign “Deer Mountain Snowmobile Park” about 4.6 miles north of the junction with route A12 and 3.7 miles North of the Living Memorial Sculpture Garden.
The Highway 97 and Deer Mountain Road Junction is at Latitude North: 41.583 degrees and Longitude West 122.193 degrees
Follow Deer Mountain Road directly to the trailhead, about 4 miles. The trail head is at Latitude North 41.570 degrees, The Longitude is West 122.131 degrees

DIRECTIONS TO DEER MOUNTAIN FROM KLAMATH FALLS

KLAMATH FALLS is about 54 miles from the Deer Mountain Road turn off
Continue South on Hwy 97 – 23 miles South-West past Macdoel with a beautiful view of Mt. Shasta
The Deer Mountain Road turnoff is 5.1 miles south and west past the Grass Lake Rest Area.
The Deer Mountain Snowmobile Park junction with Highway 97 is at North Latitude41.583 degrees and Longitude West 122.193 degrees
Continue another 4 miles on Deer Mountain Road to the Deer Mountain/Chuck Best Snowmobile Park Parking lot and warming Lodge at North Latitude 41.570 degrees and West Longitude 122.131 degrees.
