About the SISKIYOU SNOW DOG SPORTING ASSOCIATION (SSDSA)

The SSDSA is comprised of a growing group of local snow dog sports enthusiasts whose goal is to promote Sled Dog Sports through educational and fun events and membership activities.  If you are interested in taking an active role in the SSDSA, there are several key positions and many exciting volunteer positions available.

The Siskiyou Snow Dog Sporting Association hosts the Annual Siskiyou Sled Dog Races each year.
In 2012 the races will be held on February 11-12.   The races will start at 9 with the Open Class – up to 16 dogs (18 mile), followed by  the 6 Dog (13 mile), 4 Dog (5mile) 1-2 Dog Skijor (a skier pulled by 1 or 2 dogs, 5 miles), the 6 dog (5 miles) and finally the 8 Dog (10 mile).
